• Bob Morris has served on the board of directors of the Montgomery County affiliate of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America for 30 years. He is also an officer of the Montgomery Child Advocate Program.
• Seth Wilson volunteers with the Montgomery Child Advocacy Program, teaches a civics class to 6th graders in the Norristown School District, and works as a mentor to high school students.
• David Jacquette was appointed to the Board of Directors of the North Penn Valley Boys and Girls Club in 2019.
• Katherine McCardell, our Office Manager, spends Friday mornings tutoring 3rd and 4th grade students in math at a Philadelphia public elementary school.
Daemion Counseling Center

Firm partner David Jacquette was elected as a Member of the Board of Directors of Daemion Counseling Center, a community based mental health center. Since 1970, the center has served clients in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties.

Montgomery Child Advocacy Program, Run for the Hill of It

The Montgomery Child Advocacy Program’s Run for the Hill of It event raises funds to aid the organization in advocating for child victims of abuse, neglect and trafficking in the courts and social services agencies. The 5 mile run was held on Forbidden Drive in Chestnut Hill.
Philadelphia Community Movie Night & School Supplies Giveaway
August 2022
On Thursday, August 18th, our law firm co-hosted a free movie, refreshments and school supplies for local residents of the Williams Moore Reed Memorial Park in North Philadelphia. The park is located at 3600 North 11st Street at Venango Street and Old York Road.
The park opened in August 2021 and was dedicated to four victims who were struck by a carjacker and killed in 2014 as they raised money for a new playground. The victims included a local mom and her three children, aged 15, 10 and 7.
The Morris Wilson Knepp Jacquette law firm made a six-figure donation to the City of Philadelphia in honor of the family and continues to support community events at the park.
Nicetown-Tioga Improvement Team

Firm-wide day of service packing 100 bookbags with school supplies for donation to the Nicetown-Tioga Improvement Team, a North Philadelphia community outreach organization that will give them away as part of their annual drive to in-need elementary students in Philadelphia.

Montgomery Child Advocacy Project

Firm partner Bob Morris was honored by Montgomery Child Advocacy Project, an organization with a mission to end and prevent child abuse and neglect in Montgomery County. Bob has been with MCAP since its inception. He served as an original member of the board of directors and attended the very first meeting in March 2005. Through his work with MCAP, Bob has helped countless children.
Williams Moore Reed Memorial Park Ribbon Cutting
August 2021
Our law firm made a six-figure donation to the City of Philadelphia from a portion of the proceeds of a fatal injury case involving a Philadelphia family. The donation was made to honor the family’s memory by finishing the job they started: they were fundraising to build a suitable park in their neighborhood at the time of the incident. The park dedication was covered by the Philadelphia Inquirer, A new Philly park memorializes a mother and her children killed in a 2014 carjacking (Aug. 5, 2021).
Pennsylvania Innocence Project Donation

Our law firm made a contribution to the Pennsylvania Innocence Project (PIP) in June. The PIP works to exonerate individuals imprisoned for crimes they did not commit and also pursues strategies to reduce wrongful convictions in the future. Our lawyers are proud to support such an important criminal justice organization.
Upper Schuylkill Valley Park Service
June 2021
In June, our law firm performed a day of service at the Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, helping to maintain the exhibits for the wildlife they house, including foxes, wolves, a bald eagle and more.
The park offers hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating and hosts family events such as tours, field trips, etc.
