Three attorneys from the law firm of Morris Wilson, P.C. have been recognized among our region’s top lawyers or, “Super Lawyers” in June issues of Philadelphia Magazine and Law and Politics’ Philadelphia Super Lawyer. Each magazine features Robert F. Morris, Seth D. Wilson and David R. Jacquette, based on peer recognition, professional achievements and efforts made on behalf of their clients.
Robert F. Morris has been selected a Super Lawyer for the past seven consecutive years (2008-2014). Research and selection of Super Lawyers is conducted through a process designed to identify lawyers who have attained high marks through peer recognition and professional achievement. Only 5 percent of the lawyers in our region are named Super Lawyers annually. Thomson Reuters performs the polling alongside a select, panel of area legal professionals.
Seth D. Wilson and David R. Jacquette have both been named Rising Stars for 2014. This is Mr. Wilson’s third consecutive appearance as a Rising Star and Jacquette’s Rising Star debut. Rising Stars represent the best attorneys who are either 40 years of age or under, or who have been practicing law for 10 years or less. Lawyers throughout the country are asked to nominate individuals who they feel are true rising stars in their profession. Rising Star designation is awarded after a careful analysis by an attorney-led research team that reviews each nominee’s credentials based on a set of defined evaluation criteria. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in a given state are named to the list.
